Guilty Pleasures: Female characters

I don't know much about her. However, I looked up pictures and she has that whole "well endowed librarian swag" going for her. Much like Quistis from FF8!

I stood up for Jack too. lol. I almost think Miranda was designed where you have to argue with her to get in her pants!

Sakura was a well balanced character in the Alpha Games. She had the largest fireball (though it lacked range) and her hurricane sweep was useful. She could also do a good juggle with her multi-hit dragon punch!

Tyris Flare and Kos-Mos are great choices too!

So true. Ha! Ha! Ha! In 3rd Strike it was so weird because Chun's arms looked so thin and frail yet her legs were decked out with muscles on top of muscles. I really do prefer her in the earlier games. Don't get me wrong, I love me some 3rd Strike though!

1UP Refugee Here + My Thoughts On Bioshock Infinite

I beat Bioshock 1 & 2. Great games but I felt as if they were a little on the short side. I'm sure people got more of their money's worth by playing again as "evil" but I saw no point in it.

I kinda felt like you do with Infinite. Aka, I didn't fully comprehend all the praise critics were heaping upon Bioshock. Yes, it was a beautiful fps with super powers and a story that made me care about the plight of the little sisters. However, there were other games that made me even more emotionally invested. (Nier & Deadly Premonition for example)

Yeah, I probably would have went for Laira again but she seemed rather aloof in ME2. Tali of course is the best choice. Thing is I had sort of screwed up my chances with her and I didn't initially know she was a romantic option.

By the way, I don't exactly hold it against you that you let Miranda die. I can understand why a lot of people don't like her and the fact she starts off as an "alien racist" when all Shepherd's closest buds are aliens certainly doesn't help matters.

I kinda hated being resurrected & drafted by cerebus on account I felt as if I was indirectly betraying my closest crew-mates. I pretty much told the elusive man to "fuck off" at the first opportunity. Being that's the case, it's odd I almost maxed out my trust level with Miranda. It's not as if I always agreed with her or anything. We fought A LOT!

Nothing wrong with a decent fun popcorn flick! As for Tom, I do think he's a good actor. It's just the kind of person he is really grates on my nerves.

I suppose in retrospect I shouldn't judge Freeman simply for being in a Tom Cruz movie. Guilt by association isn't exactly fair.

Playing RE:6 is Breaking My Heart

Posted on 03/31/2013 at 01:45 AM | Filed Under Blogs

Our experiences with RE 6 differ because I bought it cheaper, much later, and a free update patch had come out by then. Additionally, I always start off by playing RE games on easy. I know it's kind of a spineless way of going about it but I like to build myself up towards the normal & hard difficulties one step at a time.

Personally I thought RE 6 was a good action game but simultaneously a rather bad survival horror game. I would have liked to "jump" in fright at least once but that moment never came! By the way, I'm excited for Revelations too!

Not really interested in this based on first impression trailers but that doesn't mean I will not like it once I actually see it!

Incidentally Morgan Freeman is also in Tom Cruz's sci fi movie "Oblivion" and that's kind of tarnished the man's otherwise impeccable reputation with me.

Though it may not be entirely fair, whenever I see the name "Tom Cruz" I immediately think "Scientology bullshit". I thought Freeman had higher standards!

Well, I "tried" to treat them like holy relics. I'm not saying accidents didn't happen. I lost one of my Wizard magazines because I took it camping and it got partially burned in the camp fire. Granted, Wizard was more about comic books than games but you see my point!
