I know that they aren't exactly the same, but the only game I have played related to Dark Souls is Bloodborne...  Empowerment is the word that I think about when looking back at that game.

And about Jak II, seriously fuck that one section...  you know the one where you need to escape the water district and the enemies swarm you... and screw that final boss fight.  I spent hours and hours and hours and hours replaying that guy.  More time on that boss fight that anything in Bloodborne.

Oh yeah.  I picked up Duke Nukem Forver, played for an hour, which was way too long, then I returned the used copy to GameStop.  The guy who took the game back asked, "who sold you this piece of crap?"

I think he spent about 3 hours with the game.  So, I really should just sit down and play Firewatch...  same with Gone Home.  Especially since Steve Gaynor, one of the creators of Gone Home made my favorite Bioshock level, Pauper's Drop from Bioshock 2.

I don't know how long they included a code in the box.  It might have only been the release day copies.

Is that DOOM 3 that you are talking about?  I didn't hate it, and am also thinking about replaying it, just because it has been years and I want to make pulling my Xbox 1 out of the basement.

So Patrick was talking about Syfy and The Expanse...  well, I heard him say The Ex-Pants.

The game looks neat.  That's all i have at the moment.

In the end, Descent is the game that I have the most memories of on the computer.  I could probably play through the first dozen levels blindfolded at this point...  not really blindfolded, but the point should be clear.

I still haven't played Gravity Rush, and am in no hurry to get around to it.

I really wish they would port DOOM over to the Vita.  They made it work on the GBA, the Vita should be easy.

There are a handful of computer games from that era that I remember loving, but cannot tell you what the games actually were.
