When we first got Netflix many years ago, the original Star Blazers was on it so I watched it there. But that was a pretty long time ago.

So far, Mighty Peach looks to be my favorite.
This morning I downloaded a demo of Princess Peach Showtime to my Switch and played it. Looks and plays about what I expected it to. Reminds me of something you'd see on the GameCube, but that's NOT a bad thing! You could play as Swordfighter Peach in a action platform level and Patisserie Peach which lets you play a few Cooking Mama style mini-games. The Swordfighter level was pretty easy, but the cooking level was surprisingly challenging! At any rate, I'll be getting this game when it comes out March 22.
The Jules Verne steampunk premise in Steel Empire is what makes it stand out. I love how Moon Priestess looks like Link's Awakening, I just wish it wasn't so buggy!
A while back there was a remake of Star Blazers called Space Battleship Yamato 2199. I watched the first season of it on that CrustyRoll anime streaming service.
I can give you some NES recommendations, too, if you like.
My favorite TwinBee game is TwimBee Yahoo. It was (I think) the last TwinBee arcade game and it's pretty awesome. I played it on a TwinBee collection I imported on PSP.
Hey you like Picross games, don't you? I just reviewed one called Piczle Cross: Story of Seasons. It's a Picross game with a Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon theme. I really liked it.
Since you have Apple Arcade I thought I'd tell you about a really fun game you can try. Recently a game released on the Switch called Pocket Card Jockey: Ride On! It's an enhanced port of the same game that was on the 3DS. Turns out that enhanced port is also on Apple Arcade! It's a game that combines solitaire with...horse racing? Yeah, really, but it's VERY GOOD! It was made by a company called Game Freak. You might've heard of another game series they made, a little franchise you might know called Pokemon. :) Anyway, you should try Pocket Card Jockey out if you get a chance. It's fun!
When I was a kid, one of the very first anime cartoons I watched was Star Blazers.
I remember The Great Space Coaster! It had a robot elephant that looked like Flame Mammoth from Mega Man X!
I tried to get all the weapons and upgrades in Pac-Man 256 but it took too darn long. Still a good game though. It was made by the same folks who did Crossy Road, you know.
I love mini consoles, but I never got the Commodore 64 mini. I've played the C64 a few times at friends' houses as a kid, and I think my middle school computer lab had C64s, but I don't really have any special memories with games from that.
Now go play the Bluey game on Game Pass!
