Have fun with Tears of the Kingdom! It took me about 100 hours and three months to beat!

Something about the animation on Pirates of Dark Water, or their weird eyes...kind of creeped me out. Never got into that show.
No, like I said in the podcast, I'm part ghost monster. So don't eat any power pellets around me, OK? :)
1996 is when I first started writing game reviews for The Dallas Morning News.
Super Mario RPG was a big deal back then. Are you excited for the Switch remake. I sure am!
Metal Slug looks and plays well even to this day! I love it when you eat a lot of food healing items and get fat!
Even though DKC3 isn't as good as the first two, it's still a VERY good 2D platformer. DKC3 is a very special game to me because it's one of the first games I reviewed at the newspaper.
Kirby's Super Star is still one of the best Kirby games. I loved playing it with my brother Jeff when he was little. On our first podcast, this was his number one favorite game of all time!
Yeah don't mess with my family. We'll get you in the maze eventually! :)
If you want a really deep cut, in one of the episodes of the Pac-Man cartoon, Pac Van Winkle, in the future Pac-Land there is a ghost monster that one refers to as Myrtle. Well my grandmother on my mom's side was named Myrtle (until she changed her name to Christine).
I rented the first Lufia game once. It was very bland and made me want to go back and play Final Fantasy 2 (4) instead.
Lufia 2 is WAY better. Battles are pretty standard but they way they dealt with random encounters in dungeons and using weapons to solve puzzles was very fun. Quite a playable game. And the music was great too. Awesome boss theme!
1995 was a big year for me. I graduated high school that summer and started college in the fall.
Yoshi's Island is one of my top favorite platformers of all time. I go back and forth between this and Super Mario World as my favorite 2D Mario game.
Chrono Trigger is one of the best RPGs ever made. Way ahead of its time. A must play for all gamers.
DKC2 is just as good as the first. Very good music as well.
Kirby's Dream Land 2 is a fantastic Game Boy game as well.
Phantasy Star IV is one of the few SEGA Genesis games that impressed me.
I rented Mega Man X3 back in the day, but now you can play it on many collections. More of the same. Still good, yet hard.
I wish I would've played Final Fight 3 back in the day. So many beat 'em ups back then!
Speaking of podcasts, I just guest starred in one:
I don't know if podcast guesting is a milestone, but I doubt I'd have too many Patreon supporters yet!
Yeah especially because in the podcast, I was portrayed as a ghost monster! On the splash page, Pemmy is portrayed as a dragon and James Irish as a raccoon, so I thought it would be neat to have me be a ghost monster! And in the intro, it really is true about my grandparents names. My grandfather was Lelton Clyde Woodman, but he always went by "Buddy." And my grandmother was Francis Sue Woodham, but she just went by "Sue."
