MKX looks really good on the iPad. I guess this is a good trade off for the load times to be a bit slow at times.

Yeah its crazy with sneakers now. So much hype and people buying multiple pairs to resell. This is one of the many reasons why I stopped trying going after the latest and greatest.

Congrats on the Windows Tablet. You could set it up to get rid of the tiles and go with a more iPad look 
I'm a little late on this blog but I'm hoping you spent a lot of time with your daughter, and got your tablets running to how you like them!

I tried a little bit of skateboarding when I was younger but I was terrible at it. I did do an Ollie once, but I think it was more accident/luck than skill. I am envious of folks who can hop on a longboard and just go without falling.

As much as I like Game pickups, I might like Music pickups a little more. I miss the walkman, making tapes, and trying to find that last song that can fit on the end of a mixtape.
I was never a big fan of Dylan, but I do appreciate what he has done in the music world. I do like his son's work. Everytime I hear about Joe Walsh I always think about the Eagles Documentary and the random stuff he used to do. Love Marvin. Lots of good stuff.

I do love reading through game pickup blogs beause of all the interesting/cool stuff folks find, and I'm glad people are taking advantage of the Buy 2 Get 1 Free at GameStop. I dug Uncharted 3 but 2 is still my favorite out of the bunch (I need to finish the original). LBP is a lot of fun and if that GOTY doesn't have all the freebie skins check the PSN store, there are a ton of skins. I think I used the Metal Gear skin the most.
