Nightwish introduced me to the symphonic metal fold. Bless them for that!

It freaked me out when Psycho-Mantis knew I had been playing Symphony Of The Night. That crafty devil!
Thanks for the heads up. Would have worried otherwise. Until we meet again sir knight!
Well I'm sure this guy has his own hobbies which could also be considered "wastes of time". Personally I think playing games helps hand & eye coordination and sharpens problem solving skills. It's also a good stress reliever. I find after a decent gaming session I tend to be less bitter and angry about things.
I plan to avoid it this time if at all possible, Kay. I still remember the darkest time in 1up centered around their month of writing about gender issues and female tropes in gaming. (Sadly, it started with making fun of otaku & Jrpg lovers by implying they were misogynists & pedophiles) That's when Bob Mackey and I clashed swords. (Something he and his gf apparently never moved on from.)
The thing is they tried to paint me as a angry male "monster" who hated women just because I disagreed with the way they presented their case. Yet the whole time I was actually for pro-equality.
I really think people are chasing "hob goblins" within videogames right now. It's as if they care more about what happens to polygonal animals & polygonal people than "real" living beings.
Lastly I HATE broad generalizations. Aka, when certain so called "professionals" try to paint us with an unflattering brush based on the type of games we like.
Genma Onimusha added some new things didn't it? I know it's sort of like an expanded director's cut of the original.
I actually like both Within Temptation and Lacuna Coil. Great bands! Aquarius is one of my favorite songs of all time.
I read at one point they were making movies for both Onimusha & Castlevania but they got cancelled. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. lol.
Jean Reno is a main character in Onimusha 3 and he rocks the socks! He has a whip weapon that makes him akin to a badass French Belmont.
I chuckled at what Caesar post. Aka, how "social drinking" to the point of drunkeness is considered "normal" yet heaven forbid you pick up a videogame controller.
Society puts so many pressures on us to fit within conceived molds. What do I have to say to that? Frankly it's better to do what we truly enjoy doing as opposed to living a lie. I'm a gamer and that's just how it is. As hobbies go mine is not that dangerous nor does it encroach upon the happiness of others.
