The series lost me at GOW 3 when Kratos threw an innocent women into a bunch of grinding gears just to open a door.

People like to use the argument Greek Mythology is barbaric thus GOW is being "authentic to the source material" yet as I recall, greek heroes still had morals despite their faults. Kratos is just a dick head, Matt.

I sympathized a little with Kratos in GOW 1 but as early as GOW 2 I was already starting to hate the guy.

The "bros before hos" achievement just makes me shake my head. I'm not "offended" but I am kind of disappointed. Aka, I expect "more" from developers.

Context also matters. For example, I was less offended by the stuff in Saints Row The 3rd because the game itself was self aware akin to one big parody.

RE 6 could have been a lot better. It's not the complete crap critics made it out to be but it's not perfect either. I'm kind of tired of the blockbuster big budget action movie approach. (And please, keep Indiana Jones and GI JOE out of my horror!)

Sorry for getting your hopes up, Blake. lol. I'm pissed there hasn't been a next generation Onimusha game too. I just hope if capcom finally does it they don't screw it up!

Most of the fighting games I favor have strong storylines. The ones I had the most problem with were "dream matches" or "versus events" that cramed in gazillions of characters yet had no plot at all. (This is why I wasn't as much into arcade hits like Marvel VS Capcom 2 as much as say something like Garou: Mark Of The Wolves or Guilty Gear)

Vince Vaughn...the name alone sounds suave and dreamy!

As for Naruto, I don't hate the manga as a whole. It's just Naruto himself who annoys the crap out of me!

I could of sworn it was on the 3DS but alas, I'm not as knowledgable when it comes to Nintendo, Kev. This is where not owning every console bites me on my ass. lol.

For those who already bought NG 3 and were disappointed, I can understand them skipping this title all together. However, I do want to kind of "dive in" so to speak. If my gut instinct proves to be wrong I'll deal with it on my own terms. (As my wallet weeps!)

Sometimes it's fun to read deeper into things. Aka, ask who the mother of Bowser's kids is or ponder if Mario's adventures are an induced hallucinogenic drug coma!

The problem is, many activists read deeper into things minus the fun part. Everything becomes a patriarchal conspiracy to keep women down even if it's as seemingly innocent as the game "Cooking Mama" for the wii.

Personally I'd respect more feminists if they also accepted men are objectified too. We're expected to be warriors,protectors,providers,and even sacrificial lambs for the right cause and most men falling outside those roles have to work much harder to be respected and recognized.

Don't get me wrong. There is sexism in gaming. However, at least to me I'm more concerned with how "real people" get treated online while gaming rather than how fictional characters are portrayed in videogames themselves.

Lastly, yes, misogyny exists. Then again, so does misandry.

Order Sol was weird. I always pictured Sol as the embodiment of pure anarchy. lol. However, I do think he used to be apart of the same knightly order Ky belongs to for awhile. Then he got fed up with the bureaucratic bull-crap.

Cory is luckier than me. I've been wanting to see Wreck It Ralph for awhile but often times I chose a game over going out to see a movie. I know eventually films I want to see trickle down to cable but sometimes it seems as if it takes forever!
