Primal was a great game. I loved each unique demon world and the gargoyle side kick who could possess bigger statues. If you ask me Jen should have gotten at least one sequel!

To be honest, I was happier during the PS2 era in my gaming cycle. More risks were taken to make original games then. (Everything from Odin Sphere to God-Hand & Okami) There was also a better selection of "good" jrpgs. I also miss Onimusha. It was my favorite capcom franchise for awhile then it just died. (Not to mention survival horror games then were actually survival horror. Ah, the days of Silent Hill 2-3, Fatal Frame 1,2,& 3, and RE4! Good times! Heck at this point I'd even welcome a 3rd Obscure!)
On the pc side of things I had greats like Kotor, Half Life 2,Jade Empire, and VTM: Bloodlines.
It was funny but when my friend Nick and I went canoeing I fell overboard. From then on he named me "warf rat". lol. I called him weasel!
T'was a wild rat. And I don't blame him for being scared either. lol.
Ditzy women don't do it for me either, Matt. I mean, what are you gonna talk about with them when not having sex? I need more things in a relationship to stimulate me than what is in the bedroom. I find that I want a "friend" and not just a lover out of a woman. I tried the whole "sex without really knowing the other person well" shuffle once and it fell apart on me big time.
I'm not saying randomized fast sex is an immoral sin but it takes a certain kind of mentality to pull it off. I just don't have the juice! No Sex-God here!
I count myself blessed. The reason? Probably because most of my Xbox live friends are my 1up/pixlbit friends. I'm kind of naive to that world of racist/homophobic/sexist bullshit. The worst that's happened to me is getting chewed out for supposedly not pulling my weight during horde mode. All things considered that's "mild sauce"! Still, even the most competitive hardcore gamers I played with had tact. Certainly we'd tell dirty jokes but only because we knew amongst each other no one would take it the wrong way. Aka, we didn't go out of our way to make other gamers feel unwelcomed. Our context wasn't to "grief".
Those were the days! The inquisition singing musicals!
I blame Ziff Davis. I mean literally, the guy pulled the plug. Still, I'm disappoined noone mentioned the Spanish Inquisition!
Yup, I'm a bro, bro! lol. It's no big deal. It's an easy mistake to make when just meeting people. On the internet gender is more of an unknown factor anyway. For example, some guys use pics of their favorite actresses or favorite female game characters as their avatars. It's easy to mix stuff up. (Though I mentioned even in my blog I was a guy, guy! I like saying guy a lot, makes me come off as more "Canadian!" Sadly, I'm a boring American or "Yank" depending on your point of view!)
PS: Props for liking Bastion! I tend to love top down action rpg/exploration hybrids. As for having "different opinions on games" that's just the nature of the beast, Jason. I won't hate you for it or anything. (Though I might get into impassioned nerdy debates over it once in awhile. Hey, noone is perfect!)
PPS: Pentacle is old. He's 11-12 as of today. It might simply be his time but when you love a pet so much they're family it's difficult to accept the harsh realities sometimes. Regardless thanks for your support, Jason! It's appreciated!
Actually that's smart,Joe! I probably should have created two separate accounts too but so many people know me it would be too easy for them to connect the dots at this point. Actually, I did make a separate account on FB but it was kind of forced on me. My first account got hacked temporarily so I had to make a back up. Weirdest stuff ever!
I don't take that personally, by the way. It's fine to keep some things private. Heck, we all do that to some extent!
I was mentioned in a podcast? They thought I was female too? Heh, I'm actually strangely flattered by that. lol. Still, I'll bring it up to them. lol.
