I sold my GC version a while back so when I saw that the HD version of was available for $19.99 digitally (2nd game is sold separately) I jumped at the chance because I don't finish Tales games either.

I have the 2nd game on Wii so I have no need to duplicate. Plus the fact that I wasn't really thrilled with that one anyway.

I actually liked the sphere grid a lot because of the level of customization you have for your team members. I hating the Crystarium thing though and found that it forced you into a single direction where the sphere grid did not. (At least as far as I remember)

I'll be getting this as soon as I can but with all the stuff you can do and trying to get each character's ultimate weapon it can be a huge time sync. 

However I still have no intention of trying for Wakka or Lu's ultimate weapons for reasons I won't explain to avoid spoilers.

I really want to play that again too. I was hoping they'd separate the games so I could buy FF X for $19.99. 

It does seem to be pretty lopsided in Sony's favour right now but It's still early days.
