ME2 is better in every way. This is still a great game, don't get me wrong, but I just think it doesn't look anywhere near as good. Also there seem to be less choices. I was waiting for the dialogue wheel to pop up a few times to make a choice, but Shepherd just spoke for me. It was a little disappointing. That said, playing as a Vanguard in this game is pretty fucking badass.
The saddest and darkest of things are often the things that comfort us the most. Dark Souls isn't really that gruesome though.

Yeah, but it was definitely built with a PS3 in mind. I've played all versions, and I find the PS3 just feels the best for some reason.
The PC version is terrible! I would recommend avoiding it at all costs, even if cheap. Get the console version!

Same. I think it's more the fact that there's less direction in Dark Souls. That's the only thing I really found that was harder. I mean that boss fight on the bridge in Demon's Souls... nothing compares to that in Dark I don't think.
Out of that list, in order of what you should play first: Mass Effect 2 and 3 (both are so much better than the first), Witcher 2 (One of the best stories in gaming), Serious Sam 3 (Really awesome game that's true to the original spirit), X-Com (It would be much higher if it didn't have some glaring issues that can't be overlooked), Borderlands 2. Haven't played the rest.
Oh ok. Don't play it on pc anyway, it's terrible. I played it on PS3 and I think that's where it works best - for me anyway.
Oh yeah. That's a every good comparison. I think of it as my Silent Hill 2 of this generation, because of how melancholy and terrifying it is lol.

Most people found Dark Souls harder than Demon's Souls, yet for some bizarre reason I'm the opposite. I found Dark Souls much easier. Maybe it's because I'd already beaten Demon's Souls and new its tricks.
