Borderlands 2 Session Recap and Trivia about Wind Rises

Posted on 03/05/2014 at 08:11 PM | Filed Under Blogs

I don't know about Master G or Hyperious, but Pyro Pete was dropping about 20 seraph crystals each time i killed him, so I figure they would be the same. And as you know those guys are tough even with two of you, solo is not impossible but really tricky.Which means you got to defeat them a minimun of seven times just to buy one piece of gear. Thankfully Pryo Pete in the Mister Torgue  DLC is very easy to exploit and farm.

Folks are pretty cool there and usually down to help if you got questions or are looking for someone willing to dupe or do a drop. Which goes for me too, if your on PS3 feel free to add me  sifusong78. I'm playing Skyrim at the moment but I'm always down for some Borderlands action.

If some one is comig at me with a sword and the best thing I can find to defend my self is a flowerpot, I am going to run. No shame at all. lol.

Other than to power lv another toon, going back is not very helpful. You get like 1 exp per kill. The exception is if you want to farm for iridium real easy, you can go and kill the warrior super easy over and over. Also when I tried to do this with raid bosses, they would not drop any seraph crystals. If you did not know raid bosses drop pink crystal that you can take to a speacial vendor in each DLC. They sell seraph weapons and gear, they have a pink stat card. The two best in the game are in the Tiny Tina DLC, an e-tech smg called the Flourentine and a sheild called the Antagonist. They will cost about 130 seraph crystals each.

Yeah, the only ones I was interested in were Gravity and American Hunstle. Fictional takes on real events in my opinion always are a bit off. I would rather see a documentary on the pirates in Somalia.

When I was in Houston Whataburger and Chickfilla were pretty much impossible if you had to be anywhere any time soon. Breakfast? Forget it. Lunch?, not if you only got an hour. But we don't have Whatabuger here and I no longer eat Chickfilla since they went all homophobe. I missed the Oscars, which is no biggy cause I usually don't agree with most of the nominations and even less with the wins. Plus honestly I have not seen any of these films. Yet anyway.

I really want to see Wind Rises. I should check and see where it is playing.

As for Borderlands 2, yes typicaly the game will match the level of enemies to the host. So if you are lv 46 and he is lv 50, he will get a lot less exp becaue the enemies are likely 46-47. This changes in UVHM, the game will match the lv of the highest lv player, not the host. So if you are lv 46 and your friend is lv 53, then enemies will spawn at lv 54-55. This is how people power lv. If you take a lv30 character from normal, jump into a persons game who is say lv61 in UVHM, you will get tons of exp, but be ten kinds of useless in a fight, lol.

Varkids can get dangerous quick if you let them start evolving. Let them evolve enough times and you will get a Vermiverous, who has the astronomical chance of dropping a Norfleet, a legendary rocket launcher.

There are some great videos on youtube that can show you all kinds of usefull tricks for Borderlands.  Yoteslayer has a series showing who drops what legenadarys and how they work. General Bahrooh shows you how to merge guns and some power leveling tricks and a lot of other nifty little tips. There is also a very helpful group on Facebook called Borderlands the Complete Picture that I'm in you might check out.

Nice start for sure. Best part on getting a system late is all the great games you can scoop up on the cheap. I was thinking about getting that Tales of Symphonia collection myself. Still have my Gamecube version although I never got around to finishing it.
