Destiny has its issues but at its core it is a lot of fun and you can move from solo to multiplayer at your leiser. You can actually do a lot solo. I started out that way but I have actually gotten to enjoy multiplayer elements much more. Plus I think they have improved drop rates on this last patch so it getting a little easier to get the good stuff.
I started a Boroness, she is pretty cool, no pun intended.lol I am about half way through the Clap Trap DLC. The new guns are sharp and there is a lot of nostalgia mixed in for long time fans of the series. Got sidetracked by Destiny again but I'll be back.
Glad to hear your friend is doing better. I need to dust off my copy of XenoBlade. I got about 20 hours in before I got distracted by Borderlands or something. Unfortunately the Wii just does not look very good on my hdtv.
Me too and I remember being on the opposite side of the fence back then. But that was over 20 years ago and this is a completely different animal from then. Despite the M rating you know kids are going to play this. And most probably won't be affected but that in itself is kind of disturbing.
I just think that a line has to be drawn, there is nothing "cool" about torture. It is one of the most horrible things mankind has ever come up with.
I don't think that is what they intended either but it still pretty tasteless.

I buy a fair amount of music from Amazon but not enough to justify getting the Prime subscription. Most of the time I'll end up spending $30 and get the free shipping anyway. That sucks that they gave you the run around. I felt the same when I got screwed out of my perks for preordering Realm Reborn. Gamestop and Squenix both threw up their hands like "not my fault, not my problem". I just don't preorder anything anymore.
Suikoden & Suikoden II are awesome. You have not even got to the really cool stuff yet. And I have to agree with Mothman you really want to play the first one first It's a direct sequel with some carry over characters and story. I made the same mistake trying to play Lunar; Eternal Blue before finsning Silver Star Story. Ended up dropping some major plot spoilers on myself.
Tales from the Borderlands is good, it a good mix of dialog choicing and action sequences. The writing is good and well acted and the cameos have been very cool. This was the first TellTale game I ever played and I'm hooked. Picked up Sam and Max during the flash sale and I would like to get Wolf Among Us.
Not really knowing what a mud run was made the first sentence of you blog send me into stitches. Serious my stomach hurts.lol Anyway I got the the idea as I read on. I would have loved to try something like that back in my my 20's. My best friend, my brother and I used to have a run through the Sousthwest Texas Universty campus (now sadly known as Texas State University). The school is built along the ridge of hills created by the Balcones Fault. Its a parkour runners delight. We were no where near doing Parkour but we ran, climed, and jumped over everything.
