Hey, no problem. I'm actually curious now which FPSs you do like. The genre has been around at least since Wolfenstein 3D but it certainly isn't something I associate with retro gaming lol

TS's zaniness makes just about anything look boring lol. And as much as I've enjoyed various Call of Duties (the Modern Warfares in particular), TimeSplitters held my attention for longer. And yeah, if every game had a cheat code to add monkeys with rocket launchers, the world would be a more awesome place
I don't think TimeSplitters had an arcade version. Not that I know of, at least. Are you thinking of Time Crisis, maybe? TS definitely wasn't generic military though. That was one of the great things about the series. One level might be in the Amazon jungles and the next in Prohibition era America or the far future. If you get the chance you should definitely give Future Perfect a try. It's excellent (and co-op, if you can drag your RPG-obsessed brother along for the ride lol).
You know, I don't think I have any remixes from any of the Suikoden games. I'll have to check them out!
There's something for everyone on OCR, so happy hunting. And be sure to check back here next week for whatever I decide to spotlight then
Definitely. Glad you liked it. I wish Jeremy Soule would do some more like it lol
OCR is great. The site can be a little intimidating at first because of the sheer number of songs on there (over two and a half thousand) but spending the time to dig through them is definitely worth it.
Yeah, the build up at the end is great
Glad you liked it!
Thanks! If you'd like to check out some more remixes now, I have a bunch on my 1UP page
Awesome. I always thought it strange that there was no PM system, and notifications will make keeping up with everything so much easier. And yeah, the first couple times I logged in I hit the Enter key and then sat there...waiting...
