On Grave of The Fireflies: it's one of my all time favorite movies, but I'll be damned if I ever put myself through watching it again. No amout of gore or violence could match the horror of watching what happened to those kids.

Man, your PS3 outlasted mine by far. My first one died on me, like, 2 years after I got it. :p

I've been following the thread on NeoGAF about the poor yields due to the ESRAM issue since yesterday. It's surprising that so many of the big gaming sites are being quiet about it when they were so willing to jump on random rumors before.

At this point I'm having a hard time keeping my hopes up.

Yeah, I saw that piece earlier. This is just a whole mound of bullshit through and through.

This current gen was the last one that actually fit the classical model of a traditional console reasonably well. Even with all the patches, updates and online passes, you can still play the damn games locally without needing to be connected. That they won't even allow that for single player games is just...ugh.

Yeah, same here. I'm much more convinced now that, as far as the used games issue at least, Sony and MS may well end up being in lockstep. If so, the used market is going to be fucked badly.

Man, I'm so burned out on Xone news either rumored or confirmed today. It's been a hot mess. :p
