Angry Joe - Risen. He hated the game, but he played it on xbox.
Fair enough. I could usually get drunk here at my college, but everyone was out at the new nightclub. I went late because I had to finish an assignment first.

If I'm ever in Austin, I'll keep that in mind! Yeah, I played Two Worlds 1 and was really disappointed with it, but I was recently told to play two worlds 2 and it is kind of awesome. I love the spell system especially, as there is so much customisation. I heard the combat in Risen was a piece of shite, but I might give it a go anyway.
Saying you're made of cheese isn't the best way to get a date...
I honestly think it has more to do with maturity than age. At the age of 10, I was reading Stephen King, that's just what level of maturity I was at. I played Silent Hill at a youngish age, and I think I handled it ok, and turned into a fairly well adjusted adult. My brother, on the other hand, couldn't really cope with mature themes as well as I could, so my parents didn't allow him to watch the same stuff as I could, even when he reached the age I was allowed to watch them at. Parents need to know their kids, and put some goddamn effort in.
I... should probably watch Happy Gilmore again. Such a stupid yet highly entertaining movie.
I'm not anti or pro guns. I live in Australia where they aren't as popular as America, so I can't really weigh in on the subject. I feel my thoughts would be the same as Jack Thompson's, someone who really doesn't know what he's talking about, who may feel he has the best intentions, but is pretty ignorant about the subject.
Yeah, Kotaku is one of my least favourite gaming sites. Rock Paper Scissors is probably my favourite, along with giantbomb and pc gamer. IGN are a mixed bag, in that some of their content is atrocious and some of it is actually quite great.
Yeah, I chose that video because it came out recently, and wanted to give it a bit of topicality. I should have put a few of her other videos in there to show clearly what I was getting at. Btw, my argument wasn't against guns. I was saying that a gun owner saying video games causes violence is ridiculous.
She has mentioned a ton of times that she wants video games banned. I saw that on Kotaku and thought "So?" but looking back at some of the other stuff she said... yeah she doesn't like them. I don't own a gun, and I think me saying "guns are evil, ban them" would be like an outsider saying video games are evil. Anyway, that video inspired the article, it wasn't necessariyl about it.
That's how video game characters can double jump...
Hey, we only ride our kangaroos when we've had a few too many alcoholic beverages and think we can create a super race.
