Yeah, you'd think that. I know I did.
Yeah, you'd think that. I know I did.
Thinking with their wallets, that's why.
With every game that I take to the post office I die a little more inside. :( Ditto for my vinyl collection. I just put all of my Dreamcast games on Amazon. That was really hard.
Anyway, it has to be done. Enough of the maudlin shit!
Yeah for some reason I can play the first 3 Silent Hill's over and over again which is what the clowns who made every game since 4 should have done. Maybe they'd have grabbed a clue about what made those games great. The eeriness and atmosphere, not fighting respawning monsters over and over.
They put it back again.
You need to play 3. It has definite ties to 1 so if you haven't played the PS1 game you may miss a few things but it is a really good game.
Apparently they screwed with the soundtrack on the HD version which will suck if it's true. I played the OST for that game a lot when the game first came out,
Rayman 2 on DC. Absolutely. Rayman 2 Revolution on PS2 Ditto. The game is the best of the 3D rayman games IMO.
Vivi and Zidane in an Action RPG with Dress Spheres? I'm not sure I'm down with that.
For the most part the games I've paid for were well below what I could find them for at retail. I bought LBP Karting for 10 bucks when it was still selling for full price in the stores plus 13% tax. The only one that doesn't conform to that strategy is Dishonored which I bought by accident. (Forgot to remove it from my cart before checking out.
I picked up Bioshock Infinite for $13.99 recently when even at Black Friday prices it would have cost me $22.59 to buy a retail copy.
Old games I will pick up in the bargain bins at Walmart. I picked up The Silent Hill HD collection for $15 on the weekend. Mainly because I was curious. I still have the originals. Boy is it glitchy.
I have 99 PS3 games downloaded at the moment, not to mention all the Fatal Frames, a couple more PS2 classics and 43 PS1 games. Out of the ones on your list I have Ducktales, Retro City Rampage, Double Dragon Neon and the aforementioned Fatal Frame all of which were either included with my PS+ subscription or deeply discounted when I bought them.
I used to think I hated digital because I like having the physical disk and I can't see paying the same price for a digital download that I do for a retail copy. But when I'm offered a 50 dollar game for 10 bucks I can't argue with that.
Hey, glad to see you post something other than replies to my blogs. :)
I got Dillon's Rolling Western with my coins a couple of weeks ago. I have lots more coins to spend so I'm waiting to see what Nintendo is offering after December 8 which is when the current offers expire.
I will get A Link Between Worlds at some point.
