I really want to play a Saints Row title. I have come to enjoy GTA's social commentary and snide humor, but I think I'd like pure silliness.

I still own it for GCN and despite that FUCKING PENGUIN it's still fun. I really do need to buy a new GCN controller.
I always loved the beast mode stuff since I watched my older brother playing the originals on PlayStation consoles.
It's one of those games that got middling reviews, seemed to sell just ok, yet so many people I know had a blast with it if they owned a GCN. Kind of a sleeper hit I think (all of that based on memory, not actual stats; for all I know it was a hit-hit).
It was cool to me at the time. But yeah, that was it.
Really? I think that's one you might like. It's made by Game Freak, the folks behind Pokemon.
I dunno if I have anything that can play SR2 outside of Steam, and I've honestly kind of given up on it as of late. Unless PS Now has it ...
And I'm not saying Earthbound will be a problem for you per se, it just sounded like you expected it to be a cakewalk, whereas I've heard and experienced kind of the opposite. Granted, I'm terrible at JRPG, but Cary plays them and felt similarly.
Yeah, I want to focus on just people in every day life. My taste in movies have changed to be much more character-driven than they once were as well.
I can't tell you much about online. I've only done some random missions/modes with my friend from high school when I see an invite. Apparently, it was real buggy upon release, but considering I've had no such problem and sooo many people are still playing it, I'd say it's a safe bet the online is worth something. Once I'm done with PS2 GTAs or maybe before, I might jump in myself. I'm JimBeamHortonWho on PSN if you're looking for someone to play with.
I got kind of the same feeling. Although, high school was not my favorite time to be alive ...
I'm surprised that's hard to find.
Tbh, if Nintendo went all third-party like Sega, it would pretty much cover me outside of the random Microsoft exclusives.
I'll come back to GTA V when I'm done with the PS2 ones.
I love punk-ska. Ska-punk? Third wave?
Cartoon Network show a lot of people like, seems to overlap with enjoying Adventure Time. I've never seen it, but I wanna.
Digging the Audioslave. Underrated supergroup imo.
I need to watch the other BCS eps on Netflix.
