Yeah normally I just listen to the game's music, but I couldn't resist in this case.

I didn't really get into the Ridge Racer games until Ridge Racer Type 4, but after that I was hooked. I even went back and bought some of the older Ridge Racer games on the PSOne after that.
What's really cool is that the arcade Ridge Racer game is one of the few video games my dad really got into. In fact, many years later, while I was playing RR64, my dad walked by and said, "Hey, isn't that Ridge Racer?" He recognized the game simply by looking at the screen, which is something my dad usually doesn't do!
I've found that Dead Rising is more fun to watch than to play anyway.
It's funny to have music playing during a game that doesn't quite fit the mood. A long time ago, when the first DOA Volleyball game came out on Xbox, my friend got it and wanted me to come over to play it. I really didn't want to play DOA Volleyball, but I wanted to see my friend, so I went over there anyway. But I brought a few of my CDs with me. Some Xbox games let you upload your own songs to play during the game, and DOA Volleyball was one of those. So when my friend left the room, I secretly uploaded some songs from my CD to his Xbox hard drive. So when he got back, he had to play volleyball to the tune of the DK 64 Rap and Pac-Man Fever. That was so funny!
Yeah the gameplay of Saints Row didn't interest me, but that character creation seemed pretty robust. Speaking of seeing funny characters in cutscenes, it was always funny seeing the main character in Dead Rising wearing a Servebot head throughout the story.
Yeah once I get my PS4 hooked up I'll have to rummage through the PSN store. I know some other downloadable titles coming next year I'll want to check out include Sonic Mania and the Wonder Boy 3 remake. And Capcom just announced Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, so that's cool.
I think the only thing about Saints Row that interests me is the character creator.
If I weren't so lazy, I'd take a picture and post it for you. But it's really not that impressive of a character. Just looks like a really strong, green lady mostly.
Here are some PS4 games I'm interested in:
World of Final Fantasy
Dragon Quest Heroes
Dragon Quest Builders
Tearaway: Unfolded
Ratchet & Clank
Atari Flashback vol 1 and 2
Gravity Rush Remastered (and the sequel coming next year)
Pac-Man Championship Edition 2
Odin Sphere L...I can't spell the rest
King of Fighters XIV
And also the opportunity to review games for it. Let me know if there are any others you think I would like.
Yeah like I said in my review, the character creation isn't as robust as say, Soul Calibur 4 or 5, but there is still a lot you can do. I made a She-Hulk like lady with a librarian head who says "I like pizza" a lot. And she had watermelon shoulder pads. And brass knuckles made out of candy. And made 8-bit sound effects when she jumped. Those are all things you can edit.
