Apparently Howard Scott Warshaw (Yars, Raiders, ET) wrote it but it was never released. Also, like you said it was retooled as a A-Team game but that also was never released.

I forgot how cool it was. It hooked me all over again. It's just full of great design. I still can't fathom why RealTime Worlds went and did APB instead of continuing the series. They had something special in that first game.
I saw Seth Green in the credits and then realized the movie reminded me of Robot Chicken. It had a lot of very good jokes, I thought.
