I got my kick starter one a few weeks ago.  I had some trouble connecting to my WiFi connection, but once it finally connected and updated, it has been fine.  I have had a little trouble with a button sticking under the face plate, but only if I press it really really hard.  I may sand out the holes a bit if it becomes an issue. I consider my ks version as beta, so I accept some small issues.  I have played around with some emulators and they seem to work well.  I have looked at some of the games in the store, and many have much better graphics than I was expecting.  It is very early in its life, but it looks promising.  Hopefully they get a lot of interesting games in the near future.  As far as a cheap emulator box, I got my $ worth already.

Oddly enough, I am currently re-playing Grandia II.  If you like jrpgs, it is pretty enjoyable.  I am currently at the last dungeon.  I played FFXI for years and I still consider it my favorite game ever.  That collection was kind of aimed at the ps3.  It was difficult and costly to find old ps2 copies and expansions with valid codes.  Fortunately, SE issued that and also sold codes by themselves so you could activate used games.  I have some hope for FFXIV, but FFXI was such a time commitment, I don't know if I wanna dive into another mmo.  I am quite happy with the amount of sleep I get these days.  I haven't played the other two games.

That sounds similar to FFXI.  Before you got to level 75 it was one game.  Then endgame began.  Endgame was a lot more fun.  I quit FFXI when they lifted the 75 level cap and gimped all the shit I spent a lot of time getting.  I didn't want to go through the grind of leveling again.  I hope to play beta of XIV, I want to try it before sinking any money into it.  I loved FFXI, but not sure I want to commit to another mmorpg.

I was a longtime player of FFXI.  I would consider it my favorite game of all time.  I had so many good times and great memories from it and still have several good friends I met in game.  I hope to at least get in the next beta, cause I'd like to give it a shot.  The time requirement for another mmo may hold me back.  If FFXIV is an evolved FFXI, then it should be a success.  It may not be WoW, but neither was FFXI.  But it still made shit to o FCC money.  I played FFXI on my PC, but used a 360 controller.  I prefer a controller for movement and stuff, but like the keyboard for communication and macros.

I understand your position.  I am not a religious person myself.  I find a lot of hypocrasy in all religions.  I tend to more rely on fact and science but do not look down on any religion because they are mostly good.  And I do not know what exactly to believe in myself.  I do believe that if you are a good person and try to lead a good life, then it shouldn't matter what you believe. That is how I live life.  I don't try to convince anyone that what they believe is wrong because I don't know.

I loved LoZ as a kid.  I beat the first and second quest (after you beat it the first time, you can replay a more difficult rearranged version) many times.  I still like it today, though it doesn't hold up as well as some of the later Zeldas.  I loved Faxanadu.  I may have to find a copy and replay it.

I haven't played it yet, but it is in my backlog.  It looks great.  I loved other level 5 games liked DQ VIII and Rogue Galaxy.  Wish we would get another traditional DQ game on a console.  But, I have heard about a lot of dumbass flaws with this game.  I have heard your issues before, but the problem that bothers me the most, is the dumbass ai.  I will probably play it in the next couple of months and will definitely keep an open mind.  There are plenty of flawed games I have enjoyed in the past.

The joys of retro gaming.  I miss all the tricks to get games working.  Blowing on them, licking them (it worked), turning the console upside down, pressing the power and reset buttons at the same time.  Good times.

I can't wait for 10 HD.  Hated 10-2 though.  I have been an FF fan since I got the first FF on nes for Christmas as a kid.  I played FFXI for 6+ years.  I am intrigued by 14, but not sure I want to commit to another mmorpg.  Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed 11, and still have friends I talk to regularly that I met in game.  It just took a massive time investment.  I am one of the few that liked 13.  I loved the battle system and once I got into it, I really enjoyed it.  I hated 13-2.  I found it pretty linear also.  I couldn't give a shit about the characters either.  It was the ending of 13-2 that destroyed the last bit of goodwill SE had remaining with me.  To be continued?  WTF?  At that moment, SE became EA.  I have no interest in 13-3.  I will give 15 a shot eventually.  I hope SE gets their mojo back.  But I am a bit skepticle after this last gen.

I don't know.  I am glad they fixed most of the anti consumer bullshit.  I will probably eventually get an Xbkne, but not until they have enough games I like.  My favorite genre is jrpg.  The 360 had several that were very good.  I am afraid the Bone is still aimed at the dudebro, so it may be awhile till I get one.
