I've seen enough interviews with Toshihiro Nagoshi that there wasn't too much in there I didn't know about, but I did love the aside about the lack of planning in the series. lol I guess that's why it helps for them to have kind of a template for each game. Glad things worked out for him and his team the way they did.

Thanks for the link! It was a good watch.

November 2020 Recap

I would love to play a Panzer game just so I know what all the hype is about. At least it's not Shenmue, where the storytelling is pretty bland and that's ... kinda all the game wants you focused on. And yet, I loved Shenmue anyway. Weird.

I'm stoked to play Hollow Knight for free. That's one of those indie games I've kept on wishlists for a while but never jumped on.

My Media Scrapbook: 2020

I dig Blood of Zeus so far, but it's pretty early on. My TV this year was Tiger King and The Boys, basically. lol Oh, and Schitt's Creek. I'm sure there are others, but those pop in my head.

I watched The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind with family over Thanksgiving and found it interesting and emotionally gripping.

Journey to the Savage Planet sounds right up my alley.

I take it your music 2020 section means you're not a big WAP fan? lol I can ... literally not think of any other song to come out this year and that is ... oof. I mean, I'll listen to it but that's not great. NPR does have a list of best music from this year though and it turned out to be much more interesting than I thought.

I need to finish The Long Halloween and a couple of my Vonnegut books, but I'm also excited to read A Proimised Land. I put a bar over that last one cause I don't want to start any arguments, but I think that's going to be an interesting memoir.

Here's to 2021 and beyond.

Oh you never wanted to detroy your city? You must never have been a disafected youthful person. Vonnegut would be ashamed. How dare you.

To hell with permadeath in any game, frankly. What a non-game, real life thing to impose on someone. Are you as much of an asshold as GOD? No? Then don't do permadeath, you heathen sadist!

Ah, ok. And it turns out there IS a run button, I just forgot where it was and the game never reminded me. I do not blame myself for this.

For Yakuza 7, I'm not sure ... but otherwise, you are always close, yes. I see you are a man of culture.
