Yeah, I think just about any teen thought PR was dumb, but kids loved the show. PR, of course, is taken straight from Japan, and is inspired directly by Ultraman and Godzilla, so it's funny that you didn't like it.

This is better than CoI imo although it's only single player
There are so many great Disney games from this era. The thing is, most of them are console exclusive. There are several Mickey Mouse games on both SNES and Genesis, and most of them are exclusive to that console.
I don't think I've ever been to Blockbuster Music, but I have plenty of memories of renting games from Blockbuster.
This game looks amazing! Really nice fluid animation, it's like the cartoon.
Yeah, there's a lot of cool features in the game, as you mentioned. I always really liked the variety of bonus levels, and finding bonus levels was always a surprise.
Yeah, they didn't reinvent the wheel, but gameplay was solid and fun, and of course the graphics and sound were a big draw for everybody.
I don't know, DK has some serious 'tude during the opening lol
lol I think DKC had a profound impact on a lot of kids, myself included (although I wasn't quite THAT young)
A Sparkster collection would be amazing! I actually have the cart of Rocket Knight Adventures on Genesis, which is a fantastic game, but I haven't managed to find a cart of SNES Sparkster.
