Oh yeah, it is definitely made for co-op play!

Last night I wanted to play something like Broforce, a game that is just stupidly fun. I looked and looked but couldn't find anything else that my wife and I could play together that seemed to fit the bill, so we went back to Overcooked, which has a similarly chaotic feel even if the gameplay is very different. We still could not beat the same level we were stuck on before (this insane lava level), so we tried one of the DLC episodes and plowed through several levels before going to bed. Sometimes fun is not about having a challenge. Sometimes that's what you need.
I have all the Shantae games except Half-Genie Hero but I've played only the first one. Been meaning to get on those for several years now...
He has good tastes then! I wish I had gotten it earlier.
I looked at the DLC songs once and they included other games like Chrono Trigger and others, but they wanted 99 cents a song. I'd rather buy a big pack for $5 or $10. 99 cents a song adds up real fast.
Pardon my ignorance but what exactly do you do with these reward points? Do they go towards the purchase of games you actually want to play?
When I first got a smart phone, one of the first games I got was Ticket to Ride and I played a gob ton of that (also Solitaire which, in hindsight, feels like a massive waste of the technology at my disposal lol). That's really cool that you can do game dev stuff right on the Xbox One console. Do you need a keyboard to do that? Surely a controller is not the ideal way to make games.
I played a bunch of Tekken 3 on the PS1 but that was the beginning and end of my experience with the franchise lol.
Do you have a Switch? Can't remember. I'm guessing not. I remember how it took you to get a PS4 lol. There is such a staggering amount of cool stuff on the Switch.
Dead Cells controls so well and the runs are short enough that I don't mind the roguelike aspects. Permanent upgrades are a big part of that. I'm happy as long as I feel like I'm making some kind of progress. I'd say give it a try if you see it on a steep discount.
I had not heard about an arcade version of Theatrhythm but I can see how that would work. Can you imagine if they decide to release an updated Switch version? I can see it now: Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call Final Remix Plus EX! With 500 songs!
