You seem to have a handle on this thing. I have not experimented with any augmented reality games yet,but there are a bunch out there. The fighting game I saw on a blog the other day looked sort of cool.

This will really piss you off, then! As I know, this allows you to look at stuff in your right eye as it is projected onto the glass in front of that eyeball. Don't know how clear it might be as I have not tried one out.
That was a funny sketch! I love Fred Armisen,he's great on SNL and Portlandia. I have always been better with maps, because I like holding something physical that I can get a broader scope with. In my line of work you have to know directions and short cuts between facilities. Saves a lot of time.
The hairy shall rule the earth! Great epic beards all around. I'm always looking for good PSP games,so thanks for the heads up on that one. ZZ Top is awesome, btw.
Yesssss! The metal will go on! As it always does. No one can stop it. Good songs today. Cinderella is a highly overlooked band that had major chops. Tom Keifer is a great songwriter. Saw Heart last year and that song was the highlight. They knocked it out of the park....amazing guitar and vocals. Dio is a legend and that's one of his all time best. I sure do miss that man.....
I would hope both companies learned from the mistakes that were made last time around. The games are what matter, that has been proven over the decades. Hardware is cool and highly interesting, but it is not what will win the war for either side. I hope you are right about all of this,as it would make me very happy indeed.
People lack the ability to focus on images in one eye and also see everything ahead of them. I don't care what the folks at Google say.
First time I saw Cat Power was on Austin City Limits, where she did most of the songs off that album. That band she had there was cool. I will probably get Oculus Rift if the games are good. That will be what either makes or breaks it.
This one may just pull that off. I agree that the horror genre is not for everyone. Usually folks who are not fans of horror films don't care for these games a whole lot. Some games, like Splatterhouse, even get a bit too bloody for me. Movies that do that over the top blood business tend to bore me. I like suspense mixed into the story.
I picked up Shadows Of The Damned for PS3,but have not started it yet. Reviews for it were great. Hope this new game pushes the boundaries of fear a lot further.
