My typical strategy was to find a new boss, die and then go level up a few or dozen levels and then come back and destroy them.
I believe that I understand what you are saying. after sinking the 50 hours in, I am having difficulty wanting to play through it again on NG+. Plus, there are all these neat indies that just came out... Bastion, Shovel Knight, and Titan Souls.
from what I remember of the souls games, Bloodborne is a different beast. at least in regards to the combat and setting. I suppose everything else is probably the same.
It's a really well crafted game. I think I made the right decision to play Shovel Knight afterwards. It really shows how two games that look entirely different are both informed by the same era of gaming.
Especially with The Old Blood coming in May.
All I can think of at the moment is the Nightmare sequence in Wolfenstein: The New Order. Where you get to play the first level in the original Wolfenstein 3D.
This game is so awesome. I don't think its premature to say that it will be my favourite game of this year. Wolfenstein came out it May last year and that was one of my favourite games of 2014.
Don't forget that sometimes your echoes are absorbed into an enemy, and they then have glowing purple eyes.
I am still slowly working my way through the game... So far it has potential to be my favorite game of the year...
