Sorry man I had to skip over this blog because I'm still not done with the 1st and I don't want to spoil the 2nd...I started reading and saw "SPOILERS" so I had to stop, but I do appreciate being warned 
Love new stuff that comes out on Tuesday. PSN/XBox/CDs/DVDs all drop at once! I bought Spartan Assault, but yeah wait for a sale. I'm enjoying it but some levels are really short, and this game would be fun on a tablet...for a couple of bucks, not the $15 I dropped.
Penicillin...I now wait for the Lego version 
I agree, take familar elements, use them in new ways, and have a whole new interesting product for it's core audience. Can't go wrong.
I read that eventually it will be released for Android, in case you have an Android device.
It's a fun game. One thing I forgot to mention is that using a stylus makes the game so much easier to control.
With a name like Microfighters it does sound like a fighting game...you know Lego Minifigs would be perfect for something like Super Puzzle Fighter.

I wasn't expecting much from the Mad Max game, but since you said it is being developed by the Just Cause 2 folks, there might be some hope. I really enjoyed JC2, so I'm be keeping tabs on Mad Max
