PSA: Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 About To Be Delisted from XBL and PSN

Posted on 12/17/2013 at 11:39 PM | Filed Under Blogs

Too late, I went to put money on my debit card but the dlc was gone by the time I got back, I was really looking forward to playing UMvsC3. Listen, if you or if you know anyone that can let me download the dlc off their account let me know. I'll let them sing into my account so they can download any stuff that I've bought on my account.

Question, what does the dlc contain on UMvsC3? Been wanting to get it for a while but don't have the money for it now, so maybe I thought I'd just get the dlc, if it's worth it. Problem is I don't have any money on my PSN thing to get it. Plus, what characters are extra for MvsC3? And what will be the fate of the Avatars on the PS3?

Game recommendations for an 8-year-old?

Posted on 12/07/2013 at 09:23 PM | Filed Under Blogs

Hmm, not sure I can recommend alot of 360 games, but both original  Banjo-Kazooie games, they aren't hard and have plenty of humor. Banjo-Kazooie Nut's and Bolt's may get aloy of flack, but that game is perfect. It gives you missions to do but it lets you figure out how to approach them because you can build your own vehicles.

The Lego games might be cool, my 10 year old bro and I recently beat the first Lego Batman in co-op mode, it's fun and has vehicles. I tink Lego Batman 2 has an open world, not sure though. But I tjink any Lego game will do as long as your children like the property Lego is using.

Spiderman Shattered Dimensions is a good Spidey game, it lets you play as 4 different Spider-men (?) and has plenty of jokes. Also Spiderman Web of Shadows is pretty good, it has an open world and the story ufolds depending on your actions. I think I would recommend Arkham Asylum over City since the game isn't too difficult.

On Transformers, thought you never asked, War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron are great games for the Transformers fan. If want something more kid friendly, Try Transformers Prime. It's based on the show of the same name, it's on the Wii, Wii U, DS, and 3DS. If you want an open world Transformers game, the Bayverse Transformers games are good. As long as it's on the PS360, as the Wii versions of those games aren't good.

If you have a Wii, then theres a plethora of fun kid-friendly games there. Kirbys Epic Yarn and Kirby Returns to Dreamland are great games, plus you can co-op in the main mode too. New Super Mario Bros Wii/U are good too as well as the Mario Galaxy games. If they are into fighting games and Nintendo, then Smash Bros is the way to go.

I always wanted to try Disaster when I first saw trailers of it, it looked awesome but never did understood why Ninty didn't bring it. I heard all the voice acting was in english which puzzled me, but sales always make or break a game. I was going to say Project Hammer but remembered that got cancelled. Also, wish New Play Control Chibi-Robo had come over here, I have the original; and loved it, but my GCN Controller doesn't work well anymore.

I also like Cing, loved Hotel Dusk so much, loved the artstyle, if I had a DS Top 10/20 it would be on there. Never played Trace Memory or Hotel Dusk's sequel, I once saw Trace for 5 bucks new at Gamestop, still regret not picking it up.

You should do a DS blog like this one.

My Pokemon Teams so Far

Posted on 12/01/2013 at 02:25 AM | Filed Under Blogs

I'm no expert when it comes to competitive battling with teams and whatnot so I may not know what I'm talking about, I am going to get serious about it with Pokemon Y though. Your teams aren't bad., they're pretty good, especially the last one. If you have a DS, you can trade the Machoke yourself and trade it back. I think the reason the wifi doesn't work is because Nintendo said it will stop supporting the servers for all non 6th gen games next year, otherwise I'd help you ot with Machoke.

Garchomp is a beast, I had it on my in-game Platinum team. And Lucario, he was my favorite 4th gen pokemon, funny thing, Lucario has always found a spot on my team ever since 4th gen, I had one in Pearl, Platinum, Black 2, and now in Y. If you get X/Y at some point I'll trade and battle with you.

I missed that TLOU at 25 bucks, 20 is my jump-in price but 25 is too good to pass up. I may get it if it's on sale this monday. Overall great purchases. The only Hitman game I have is Absolution that I won at a contest at 1up earlier this year, still need to finish it.

Been a while, nice to see you've been good and really busy. I need to ask you something on twitter at some point since it has to do with a project I'm working on and I don't want to talk about all the details here.

I think I will, I was thinking of keeping it a mystery but I just don't want to drop it without being noticed. I think I'll have some updates on it once I have a rough draf or something. It's really the art that's holding me back a bit because I can't really decide on a design for the project but I think I'll have a final design soon.

I am not on twitter often as of late either, too many tweets to keep up with but I check up on it occasionally. I also have a tumblr too but keep forgetting I have one. Might actually use it soon.

Long time no see! I've been a bit busy too, I'm working on a little project and it requires the little art skill I have. It's not an art related project but requires some art for the idea. If I'm lucky, it may be up next year or so depending if I can do it. Anyway, hope you have fun with your family on Thanksgiving, if you'll be on twitter that day then maybe we can have a chat if you want to, no promises though cause I don't like letting people down. Great art as always, and have a Happy Thanksgiving incase I don't see you for a while.
