December 19, 1997, you're right. I guess I remember the hype for it coming from 1998.

I feel like the games I own are still console games first, but both of those sound good.
I get what you're saying on all counts actually. I guess I've just never found the platforming too floaty. It's actually a bit refreshing to hear someone say they don't like Mega Man, even if I do.
Might actually be Pirate's Curse. I'll be honest, I just saw it was Shantae for $3 and said "yeah I'm getting that," since Carey and others rave about it and I'm interested anyway.
Yeah, the cost is the main thing keeping me hesitant about Rocksmith. Looked like an automatic buy until I saw DLC list and wondered if it had any songs at all that came with it.
Hmmm ... yeah, when I watched the trailer for Arctic Monkeys Are U Mine it seemed like easy mode was just guitar hero but hard mode was the actual song. Also, I already know how to play that song.
Thanks for the input!
Always found Mega Man controls really tight. Huh.
Castlevania is another great franchise though.
MGSV being that low on story is kinda weird.
Shantae's Revenge. Why do you say Rocksmith isn't that good?
At the end of the day, I'm glad it happened. It's kind of like the Metallica/Megadeth split, except where Dave Mustaine actually becomes more successful at some point.
It's about time Nintendo did something like this with Pokemon and the Internet. Honestly, the fact they haven't come out with an MMORPG up until now shows the company's conservatism.
Awww. lol
Did your roommate not have Internet before?
