Most recently, I had to refund Grown Up. I purchased the game on Steam and couldn't do anything with it due to control issues. Climbing controls would randomly pause the game, I couldn't mess with the options because I had to hold the accept button to open other menus and this happened no matter what control method I was using.
It's a shame, because I really enjoyed Grown Home and I was really looking forward to it.

There are a ton of controller profiles for SMG on the net, so you should find one to suit you. Dolphin is great in that you can map things like shaking, tilting, or thrusting the wiimote to a button.
The only thing you need a wiimote for are games that need wiimote plus, like Skyward Sword and the like.

Do it. You don't even need a good GPU, just a modern CPU and you should be golden. It's worth it just for 1080p and the chance to use other controllers if you wish - plus it plays gamecube games and it really well optimized.

Depending on what the Wiimote does I can either map it to the right analogue stick or to the mouse. I'm thinking of maybe giving DKC:R a go, or one fo the Kirby games. I heard there's a Wii Klonoa game, and I do love me Klonoa. Hopefully it's good.
Huh. PS3 was my favourite due to games like Demon's Souls, Uncharted, Infamous, and the like. 360 didn't have as many exclusives that I liked tbh.

For MMO's, I bought a mouse with number keys on the side. You have no idea how helpful that is and I will never ever go back to the old way of doing things.
What gives you cramps with Dark Souls?
If your pc can run MMOs and stuff it might run Dolphin? I'd give it a shot, then you can play it in HD. And you can use your wii-mote with the emulator if you want, or set it up with mouse and keyboard.
I like the idea of it, since it essentially gives you the accuracy of a mouse, but even resting my hand on a pillow makes my arm cramp up. That may just be a result of past injuries, since two of my previous jobs were rather wrist and arm intensive (painting and chicken farming). Either way I just prefer using a controller or a mouse and keyboard (though even that can give me trouble from time to time).
Yeah... they're really competing hard with Ubisoft for biggest fuckwit of a company.
