The platforming challenges in the final dungeon of Pirate's Curse were no joke! Looking forward to playing Seven Sirens eventually.

Yeah, they didn't stick with Pokken for very long...but it was $5! So I do feel we got our money's worth out of it lol and who knows, they randomly go back to stuff all the time. Ah, to have a child's time.
It's too small. Aside from the four game limit thing, it's just too dang small! This is just the Japanese announcement, I think, so maybe things will be different when they bring it out over here. If they bring it out over there. Some of those games definitely did not come out in America back in the day. I love the idea of a classic handheld console collection thingy, but this is not the way to do it.
I've wanted to play that Warhammer 40k Diablolike ever since hearing about it, but I'm just bogged down with other good games. It's a rough existence.
I hope to play Streets of Rage 4 at some point but I'm in no rush. StarCrossed sounds cool! I've heard good things about Moving Out. Kind of like a differently themed Overcooked.
And that's exactly why I like playing on consoles lol.
I wanna play that game from the blog title!
I have never liked the Xevious model of shoot-'em-up where you have to drop bombs with a different button to hit ground targets. So it sounds like I'd like Fire Shark but not Sky Shark.
I've always wanted to get the Capcom Beat 'em Up Bundle. Armored Warriors sounds really cool.
Castlevania IV looks really good and is pretty easy compared to the earlier games in the series. I've wanted to play Bloodlines for a long time and was excited that it was on the Genesis mini. But the one time I tried to play it my kids hounded me so much—with both unending questions and by trying to climb on me while I played—that I kept dying and gave up all frustrated. I need to play it sometime after they're asleep.
It's your lucky day! Shantae and the Seven Sirens just recently came out! As for ReCore, the connection the dev had to Metroid Prime was part of the official marketing. They even put it on the back of the box!
I guess I'm on a WayForward kick. I could probably dig up a couple more from the ol' backlog lol. I ordered a physical copy of Seven Sirens as well and, yeah, it will probably be a couple months. As for River City Girls, I'm just glad my wife has stuck with me on it. We've had a few depressing defeats but we're definitely enjoying it overall.
Risky's Revenge could have, like, four or five layers to hop between. Not my favorite set up but at least they used it for confusing puzzles. It made for a confusing map too. I'm playing Pirate's Curse right now and really like it. Glad they went with a standard Metroidvania-style map. The game just feels right.
