I played Super Meatboy before I played that. In my opinion, Super Meat Boy isn't that hard so far, because of how small the levels are, but Bit.Trip Runner pushes you back real far for slipping up. I honestly think it could benefit from a difficulty with a checkpoint system.
It came out of the blue for me. Had no idea the growth was why he missed a recent E3.
It'll be interesting to see who they go with and how they change things (or not).

Too bad the ryhtm action game isn't a real one. Speaking of, I played Bit.Trip Runner recently. Man, that game is unforgiving.

I personally love it. People are right that the Batmobile is overused, but I don't mind and mostly think it's fun to drive. I didn't love how it was used for boss battles though.
Otherwise, gameplay is pretty much the combat, stelath and side missions mix of previous games with some upgrades, a new story, and a new coat of paint. It's my personal favorite of the series, but mileage may definitely vary since this is my first time playing one on console (I played the GOTY editions of Asylum and City and a regular copy of Origins on PC well after their initial release).

Lunch Truck Tycoon sounds like a fun real life job. I'd love to run a food truck in Austin. It looked like fun when we ordered from them when I was in town.
