I saw Superman 64 at this retro game store recently. They wanted $10 for that piece of garbage. I looked at that price tag and started laughing my arse off. Maybe I should try selling my PS3 games on Ebay. I called Gamestop to see how much they'd offer for a 120 GB Slim. $50 lol. WTF?!?!?! 
Great review Chris! I never could get into this series. WAYYYYYYYYY too much grinding for me. My brother loves it though. I wish I would have known you needed Disgaea 3. I had that game at one point... 
I don't know about the Retron3, but I had bought a FC Twin (plays NES and SNES games) awhile back, and that was the best $40 I ever spent. There are usually some compatibility issues with those clone systems. Like no Castlevania 3 or Super Mario RPG. So you might want to do some research before you buy one. Don't forget about ebay too! Sometimes you can find games where the shipping costs more than the actual game lol.
Nice work man! I'm glad to see Contra made it. I love that game to death. I don't think I could ever get sick of playing it. I had bought Blaster Master aways back, but haven't gotten around to it yet. My friend told me that it's massive for NES standards.
I'd pay $412 for a NES. That system has brought me infinitely more joy than the PS3. I've heard that NEO GEOs go for a lot... but damn! 
I'm gonna have to see if my brother has 4 Heroes of Light. I had wanted to play that awhile back, and totally forgot about it. My DS collection is freaking pathetic and consists of a whopping 0 games lol. 
Hooray for Double Dragon Neon!! I didn't think it was too hard. I loved the music and how they used DD 2 sprites on the overworld map. I hated Skullmageddon at first, but after watching He-Man (yeah I just said that lol) I came to appreciate his obvious Skeletor influenced design. If you want a hard DD game play DD 3 on NES. It's a nightmare!!!
I was thinking about getting Chu Chu Rocket on Dreamcast. My DC collection is absolutely pathetic and only consists of 3 games lol. Would you reccommend it?
Nice work! I especially liked the Metroid and Gradius. Gradius had some amazing cover art! I'm curious to see what other NES games you picked. I like to draw sometimes. I have to be really motivated or I can't draw worth a crap though.
This game looks cool and all, but man...I still need to finish Psychonauts one of these days. And about 131 other games lol
