I wasn't sure what too expect but this looks incredable. The new character designs will take some getting used to but otherwise this looks like they really put some thought and research into it. Looks like beat'em ups are making a comeback. Now if someone would only find a creative way to bring back oldschool shooters like Gradius, Varth, and Raiden.
I have done that too and I always go back and finish them eventually. I'm lucky in the case of Persona 4, it is broken down by days and I have the strategy guide which also fallows that format.
It really is a incredable game. That said I need to finish it. I'm about 3/4 through it but have not played it in a long time.
In the case of Borderlands 2 there really could be a long wait. They have realeased the four campaigns that were part of the original season pass and have even dropped the price for it. But there is much more dlc on the way, another level cap raise along with what to me sounds like a circle of slaughter add on similar to the Underdome from the first game some time in the fall. There is also the uncomfirmed rumor of a possible future campaign set onthe Hyperion Moon Base.Since the GOTY's come out ususally a year from the original realease I figure we'll know for sure in October.
Ruby and Emerald weapon, they are stupid hard and the only thing you get for beating them is bragging rights. Ozma from FFIX is another good one. As for more recent games I would have to say Terramorphous and Vermiverous in Borderlands 2.

You won't be disappointed, its even better than I was expecting and I was expecting it be pretty damn good. Like you said this is Vanillaware were talking about here, they bring it.

I am a weapons master, I use them all, sometimes at the same time. Honestly it depends on the game. In FFXII I liked using axes and poles. DQVIII I liked using spears with hero, axes with Yangus, Whips with Jessica, and Swords with Angelo. And if I am playing Soul Calibur I like getting my nunchuck on with Maxxi.
