I wish I could be both a fan and part of the media. But oh well.

I remember seeing this game everywhere in arcades back in the day. SNK must've had a distribution center in Texas or something because I remember seeing a LOT of their games in arcades back then. I never really played it much, but I did try POW recently on one of the SNK arcade collections and found it very hard and not that much fun.
I reviewed Costume Quest 2 a while back on GamerDad.com. While it is full of charm and personality, those sorts of things can only get you so far. The important part of RPGs, the battles, are the meat of the gameplay and they are not very good in Costume Quest 2. I lost interest pretty quickly in that game because of it, and you'd think that would be the kind of game I'd like to play. But then, I've become increasingly more picky about my RPGs as I get older. If you do want to play a GOOD charming, RPG that is short and breezy, try Child of Light instead.
But what would I dress up as?
The other problem is that I usually go to these things as a member of the press, so I have to look somewhat professional.
3-D Dot Game Heroes is great. I'm surprised Nintendo didn't sue since it's SO much like Zelda!
I learned to like, or at least tolerate, Taco Bell in college because it was so cheap.
I don't know anything about wrestling.
If I had a Vita, Gravity Rush would be one of the games I'd get for it.
Here's some ideas of games you can talk about:
Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures (SNES)
Klonoa: Door to Phantomile (PSX)
The Misadventures of Tron Bonne (PSX)
Ridge Racer Type 4 (PSX)
Astro Boy: Omega Factor (GBA)
Tail Concerto (PSX)
That should hold you for a while. --Cary
I don't even know what Lords of the Fallen is! That's how much I suck at it!
I'd like to dress up in costume, too, but I'm probably too old for that.
I think San Antonio is a neat place to visit every once in a while.
