What's with weird names for horror media now? Ju-on, The Babadook ... ok there seemed like there was more to this pattern in my head.

That's how I was. Not a fan of the first episode at all. It did get better for me though. Especially when they start giving some of the inmate backstories.
I'm still very curious what changes they've made to MM.
You watch Orange is the New Black?
I'm just curious, do you work from home just doing design work or you have an office?
I think they could add a lot to work with. We'll see.
Tree of Life sounds pretentious to me, but I'll make that call when I see it. How many retellings of Pocahontas aer there? Or is this a more accurate historic portrayal of that subject?
I agree people have niche tastes. I think they always have and just more is available. But I've seen a bad adaptation do damage to the perception of its source material, which I think is unfair.
I know all those directors, but indeed the only one whose films I haven't seen are Malick's, though I think we watched Thin Red Line in high school. Funny you mention him, because my favorite Internet reviewer personality (Cinema Snob) haaaaates him and thinks his movies are the most pretentious nothing things ever. But I might like them, since I don't really agree with Cinema Snob on a lot of movies (I did not like Halloween III near as much as him for instance).
It could be great or hilariously bad. Either way, I'll watch it, but I hope it's good so it won't get people thinking the actual Zelda series is as bad as the show.
Actually, only week days count, so you're very much in time for BaD #6.
And yeah, I liked the 2000s Daredevil movie. I was 13 and Jennifer Garner looked hot to me, so there ya go. I've heard that a lot of the plot issues were fixed by the Director's Cut.
You looking forward to possibly a live-action Zelda streaming on Netflix too? I think the way things have been going with House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, and the old TV shows and movies they have, plus the exclusive stuff they're coming out with, all I'll need is Netflix for the foreseeable future, except for special TV events like sports and maybe the Oscars.
