I really appreciate all your comments and insight on the matter.
Define 'good.' Yeah I play a lot of games at this time of the year for review.
I didn't like the DS version of Diddy Kong Racing as much as the N64 one.
Have you tried Ys Seven on PSP yet? I love that one. If I had a Vita, the Ys game on that would be the first game I'd get for it, probably.
PS: I like your picture for some reason.
Hello. Glad to know you're doing OK. It's always good to hear from you and please do know that we think about you.
I played Choplifter WAY betore it was on the SEGA Master System. Choplifter was originally on computers, and I had it on my Apple ][+. The graphics were not as good, but it was the same game. I also played a version of Choplifter in the arcade that SEGA made, and remember liking the Apple one better. I reviewed that Xbox LIVE Choplifter game as well. I thought it was kind of hard.
Donkey Kong 3 plays like a reverse Galaga. I saw the arcade version of it ONCE back in the day, but my mom didn't let me play it because we were probaby in a hurry or something.
There are a lot of Cute 'em ups out there. Here are some more.
Galaga '88
Cosmo Gang: The Video
Ordyne
Sky Kid
Twinkle Star Sprites
Star Parodier
Air Zonk
Pocky and Rocky
And many more. I can list others if you want. --Cary
I'm thinking about doing a blog on my favorite weekday afternoon cartoons, too.
Sailor Moon?!? Blech! Ew!
I have that Genesis Flashback. It's not very good. Sound is way off. I'd love to know how the others are, though. I'm sure they can't mess up the 2600 too much.
I got Mighty GunVolt for free at PAX Prime. It's all right, especially since it's free, but I really wasn't that impressed with it though. Capcom's faux NES game: Dark Void Zero, a DSiWare title, was much better. I haven't gotten the main GunVolt game yet because it looks pretty hard.
