Momodora looks like too many things I already played, but I do love the soundtrack. Hmm ...

I don't know if I'll ever understand Hanafuda or Mahjong. Those games are a big part of the reason I don't ever really try to Platinum Yakuza games. I can probably get the hang of Shogi because it's like chess, but even then I don't quite understand it as well as chess. 

I was so excited for River City Girls until you said it was hard and Cary said he liked SoR4 more ... cause I bought SoR4 after discovering how much I love SoR2 and ... meh. 

I'm loving TLOU 2, but it is very similar to its predecessor in so many ways. Maybe I should have played the first one right before to really see the difference, but it even looks pretty much like what I remember from the original, though I'm sure the textures are much smoother. 

Anyway, the story so far is definitely intriguing to me but I doubt I'll wind up saying it is the best game story ever made. Never say never though. 

I always felt the Mega Man games had that vibe to them. Even the X series, while darker, definitely had cool futuristic scenery and hopeful characters. Even though I'm personally loving TLOU 2, I totally get what you mean. 

I think Horizon might potentially fit your description since I only remember murdering robot dinosaurs in that one.

Only R&C I've ever played is renting Going Commando on PS2 and the remake of the original (which apparently is not much like the original) I own for PS4. 

But having dealt with motion controls in Dreams on PS4 recently, I can only imagine how horrid the motion controls in a PS3 title when it was new enough that anyone would have given a crap about Sixaxis control. 

Is it the first or second Ace Ventura with Cannibal Corpse? 

And I bet I'd still like most of "One Hot Minute." To my knowledge I've only heard Aeroplane, but I like that song. There are probably one or two singles I don't realize are from that album I like. 

I think Red Box might have removed a lot of its video game services. It was only ever a handful of AAA titles anyway ... as Justin is now saying as I type this. Anyway, I'm using GameFly to do something I haven't done in a LONG time: specifically keeping a game out just to beat it (The Last of Us 2). But now I'm enjoying it enough I might just buy it anyway and have them send me Crash Team Racing or Control. We'll see. 

Also, damn, I miss EGM so much too and remember Dan Hsu and Seanbaby and those comics with the dudes in black garb I cannot remember the name of (though I think one of them was named after Dan "Shoe" Hsu). Such great times. Trying to find this exchange between you and Hsu on Twitter. You have a link to it?

God, I want NFS: Burnout. I don't agree with "I'll buy one but not the other." I'll shell ALL the money out. 

I also check the list only after I get a certain amount of trophies. I actually checked Sonic Forces cause I felt I was getting a trophy for EVERYTHING ... then I looked and I was only 15% done and there were tons of 0.03% rarity trophies. Damn, Sonic Forces. But I also wonder if there are some cases in which trophies are not hard to get, there just isn't more than 0.03% of the population willing to play a certain game enough.

Skyblazer looks so cool. Still remember that Game Grumps series wondering why the hell I never heard of it. On the note Angelo brings up, I miss developers having to be creative due to limitations in general. The PS5 hype where they talk about developers basically being able to do whatever the fuck they want actually made it sound less exciting to me? Mostly cause to me it sounds like that will cause them all to try to do the same thing. But I loved the diversity of that PS5 reveal lineup so I'm hoping I'm wrong about that. 

I think I might just buy the new Shantae ... depending on price.
