I do agree it's not a very good game, but I consider the game more bland than outright terrible. It just didn't inspire me that much to continue playing it.

Yeah, from Totalbiscuit's video on the game before release, the game didn't have the save anywhere function. I do admit that the main campaign of the game is a bit linear.

Okay, maybe just sleep without sex. For female, Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy seems like someone who would comfort you in bed since she's after all a motherly figure. For male, I can only think of Carth from KOTOR, even if i've only played 4 hours into that game but overall I don't feel like i'm homosexual or bi.

On the idea of Streets of Rage ala DD: Neon, sincee the latter game was pretty much a send-up to the 80s, Streets of Rage may also work as a tribute to the 90s since that's the decade of the trilogy.

Yeah, Valkyria Chronicles was surprising hit over Steam, even temporally beating Asassin's Creed: Unity.
