Yeah, I have the money for games beyond Steam, but ... tain't happening. 

I'd love to do some things like sky diving via Oculus Rift rather than actually put myself in harm's way. Of course, that would take some of the edge off, knowing I'm not in harm's way. Hmmm ...

I got some money for Christmas ... so I guess I'll be spending more loosely again.

As bad as I am about buying too many Steam games, buying games for multiple platforms is thankfully not a problem I have. lol A couple games I have twice cause of Humble Bundle, but that's only cause they're bundled with other games I want.

I've usually been ok running stuff intended for other OS on my Windows 8.1 laptop.

Me too. However, Mirror's Edge is now the same price and I'm more curious about that one.

My laptop isn't a 100% guarantee for things to work. Sometimes I have to wipe things off my hard drive to get games working properly. I think I'm overconfident ever since Tomb Raider (2013) worked for me though ...
