Nice. Many of your games from both your PS2 and 360 lists seem to dig from the section of games I rarely touch. A lot of these such as Magna Carta 2 and Operation Darkness are games I've completely forgotten about! Nier and Catherine are great games though and would probably be among my favorites as well.
Yeah, just beat. Monster Hunter is very MMOish in its length and is also incredibly hard to add to that.
I felt this song was appropriate. I also chose it because it is a meaty 8 minutes long. That would suck if the song ended before your dying breath.

I'm pretty commited when it comes to completing games. I think mine would probably look like a yellow Pac-Man! It helps that I usually only play one or two games at a time. The games I don't complete are games that I honestly didn't like that much and the odd game that's too much like a black hole to complete (Monster Hunter is the only one I can think of right now)!
I certainly wasn't as spoiled as many kids seem today. My family was poor and I remember most of my childhood days being kinda bored. My parents tried their hardest to keep me away from playing video games (restricting them to weekends). That is if I even had the money to buy any. Regardless, their plan seems to have backfired because I am still more enthusiatic about games than your average kid!
I agree, the railgun is a pretty cool weapon. Though the only game I believe I've used it in is Halo 4. That was one of the few great additions 343 made to the game, IMO. As far as I know, you never actually get to use the railgun in the Metal Gear games, but that boss battle with The Fortune certainly made it memorable.
Yeah, it was big dumb fun. I bought the game for $5 new and can't say it wasn't worth every penny!
