"Worser?"
Yeah you should play the original game, and good luck finding an arcade with the GP machines.

Yay, you like the first game, too! A.I. in all the games is pretty cheap, though. Even the first one.
I liked it. Diddy Kong Racing did some things better than Mario Kart 64 did.
But it was also the game that made me get a PSOne. Diddy Kong Racing was that year's N64 holiday game, and that just wasn't going to cut the mustard for me.
The co-op in Double Dash isn't as fun as it sounds. You definitely should try Air Ride.
Hope you like the GBA Mario Kart. And Diddy Kong Racing was pretty good, I thought.
Yeah I think Mario Kart 64 has aged very well, and you can't say that about too many N64 games. MK on Wii is cheap, but the tracks are a lot of fun.
You never played the original? You should, just to see how it all started.
Hey your list is almost like mine, just flipped over!
Your story reminds me of how I played Super Mario Kart on the SNES. I knew every track and when to turn and whatnot, and we played Battle Mode a lot with friends. I did have a little bit of fun with Battle Mode on the N64 one, but after that I never really messed with them much.
Yeah games you play together with others tend to have better memories associated with them.
Yeah it's a shame how unfair the Mario Kart games have become. They used to not be so bad. They're still fun, but annoying sometimes.
