I remember watching a brief video about Rage (I think) with random terrain creation, and then the artist can touch it up. It's possible Projekt Red has created an engine with tools just for the trees/plants/grass.
Well Zelda has this medieval inspiration to it, so I guess it fits.
The only compositing I do is for stitching, depth of field, and if you want to consider the vertical shots because I rotate the camera to 90 degrees. Also downsampling helps with the sharpness.
Imagine if they set them up one at a time haha. Hopefully they used an algorithm for such a task, and not a treehugger.
Every game needs a vehicle that can climb buildings. Sounds awesome.

I want to try these 2 demos, but I'm just waiting for a usb wifi adapter that I got on Amazon to see if I can get better speeds because at the moment I'm using my phone as a hotspot. Definitely looking forward to the Daemon demo. I'm not a huge fan of Yoshi, but I will give it a try.
