Great list, Cary! I especially agree with Zelda-All Stars and Link's Awakening!! There is a patched rom floating around of 16-bit LoZ that does away with the whole timed play constraints of the Satellaview, and adds a new Link sprite. It is a great remake and I highly recommend it!
Personally, I'd love to see Oracle of Ages/Seasons in 16-bit!
I'm a Let's Play fan and I am absolutely loving Dark Souls, so I would absolutely watch! It's always fun to watch someone who really knows the in's and out's do a Let's Play - great way to learn and pick up tips!
I'm going to say Silent Hill 2, and I chalk a lot of that up to the lack of hope in the game - you just know things are going to get worse and worse as you unravel the truth of why James has been called to Silent Hill.

I was honestly blown away by what I found in terms of graphical overhauls by Morrowind, especially the Graphics Extender XE mod. And I hear you, of the hundreds of hours I dropped into Skyrim, I did a WHOLE lot of wandering aimlessly and mountain climbling!
I have experienced the horse glitch in Red Dead Redemption, and damn near pissed myself. See the video for an example!
That is a mighty fine first game to have ever played, and that is one bad ass cover you did of that track! "The First Game I Ever Played" would actually make an awesome community-wide feature.
I can't quite remember what my very first gaming experience was, but it may have been Super Mario Bros 2 or TMNT on the NES. I'll have to do some mental spelunking and try to figure this out!
Got started on Dark Souls a few days ago, and I LOVE it - so I am in the same boat! Looking forward to the awesome journey in Dark Souls, and I am definitely picking up 2!
