I've heard a lot about Yakuza 0 lately. Maybe I'll rent it when I get back into rentals very soon.

They're always trying to cram in every type of entertainment possible into these system to please everybody. It's weird, but on 360, I used to get a tad annoyed everytime a person on my friend's list popped up saying they were watching Netflix. Mainly, I guess, because it happened so often. I wanted to hear about those people's gaming, not what TV show or movie they're watching. I needed some setting that filtered out everything but games.
Character journals. Interesting idea. I'm going to think about that.
If it wasn't for Mark, who I've known since I was ten, I'd be mostly a solo gamer too.
Passing the controller is co-op to me. You mentioning Myst reminded me of when my friend Sean and I played that game together. We'd just figure out the puzzles together. I forget who moved through the environment. That wasn't the point of it though. It was thinking together on a problem. Thanks for reminding me of that. It's a fond memory.
I totally remember moving from couch co-op games in the 90s, to lan and network co-op games on Xbox and PC in the early 2000s, to full online co-op from around the beginning of Xbox 360.
I just downloaded Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime on Xbox Live Games with Gold. That supports four player couch co-op, but I don't have anyone to play that kind of co-op game at the moment. I'll play it solo.
I see a lot of amiibo I'd like to have right now. I'm holding back though until I get my budget under control.
I played a hella lot of Disney Infinity games last year. Now I've got the XBO versions of 2 and 3.0 and am going to play them again. I love the figures. I have a pretty good collection of them now. I may do some blogs on them this month. I just got a special case on a GS clearance sale to display my favortie figure, Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey.
So want to play Neir Automata. If I could get off my XBO and on to PS4, I'd download the demo at least. I'm soon going to switch to renting games, so I'll probably put that one on my list.
I traded my copy of Odin Sphere PS4, but I still want to play it. Maybe I'll rent it when I have time.
I just downloaded Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime and that game is designed around couch co-op up to four players. So it's still around. Thing is, I'm all about online co-op, which is fairly common now, but it used to be rare. Mark and I used to play couch co-op games when that was all there was, but since LAN stuff and now online, we can both have our own TV and play co-op that way - way better.
Mark and I played Uncharted 1 co-op. He doesn't have a playstation 3 anymore, or a PS4.
I had to stop my comics buying because it was: a. costing to much, b. too many crossover issues. You can see how these two are connected. I can only follow my favorite characters through so many issues. I can't even begin to restart now. It'd be way to frustrating not being able to get all the issues I want.
