Tiny Tina gameplay footage!

Posted on 06/02/2013 at 11:27 AM | Filed Under Blogs

I was a bit disappointed with the other three offerings, but it looks like this one is going to make up for them in a big way. The 25th can't get here soon enough.

Yeah, it really frees up the already loose reality of this universe. And with Tina at the wheel crazy shit is going to happen.

E3: I'm So Excited...I'm So Scared!

The thing is the guys calling the shots are not gamers themselves and are out of touch with the culture. A quick visit to ebay, amazon, or a store like Game & Trade might make them realize just how wrong they are when it comes to backward compatability. Older past gen games selling for upwards of $100 or more, retro boxes for NES and Genisis games are getting more popular. Especially since Sony and Nintendo both dropped the ball on their virtual consoles. Where are TMNT 2 and 3? Where is Super Double Dragon III? There are more than 80 games in the NES liabrary, there are hundreds completely unaccounted for never mind SNES, and PS1. Its like movies. People who really love movies can enjoy watching a black & white that was made 70 years just as much as a movie that came out today. People who really love video games are no different.

Sex, Lies and Video Game Ads

I alway thought this was such a wierd ass ad. I suppose the intent was maybe to connect wild west shoot out to outerspace dogfights. But this is just a hill billy strummin his banjo chillin with his dog, not a gun slinging cowboy. I just don't get it. If I remember right this was also the box art too.

Hittin up the state parks sounds fun. Not too familiar with Indiana, I just assumed it was mostly flood plains and prairy land. I can't stand the heat and since I mostly work out doors I plan to spend as much time as possible in the AC playing video games. Gotta give you props on Ninja Gaiden, have yet to even get past the first level on Sigma. Didn't put much time in it really though, I was just trying it out. Always wanted to play Seiken Densetsu 3, Secret of Mana is one of my all time faves.

My Art Work pt2: Observations and Nudes

Really nice work. I like the chess one in particular. Faces were kind of hit or miss with me. That is, less attractive faces are easier than attractives faces. You can really run with wrinkles, imperfections and such and not worry too much about symetry. But with attractive faces it all about symetry and using shadowing and less line for detail. But yeah hands are tricky as hell, and they really are very expressive so getting them right is a must. Maybe they use chubby models so certain things are more likely to remain hidden, lol. Just a theory.

Metroid

Super Metroid is one of my all time favorite games. Had a hard time with the original. But since Zero Mission is basically just a remake I count it as the first, lol. Metroid 2 Return of Samus on the original gameboy was pretty good too. I really like the first Prime but I had some issues with the other two. I have Other M but have not around to playing it. But I'm with you, where is Metroid V ? Come on Nintendo bring it already! I' would like to see it done in the style of a third person action shooter. Basically a sci-fi Zelda.

Yeah I totally agree. From what I have heard part of the problem is that they out sourced the other three dlc campaigns. Tiny Tina's ADK was the only one developed inhouse. But seeing all the cool things they did in this it really annoys me about the other three.

The thing is about the junction system is you just don't use magic. Sounds crazy I know, but  basically you 'll get to a point where you can have 3 GFs on each of your main active people. Put the right three on these guys and junction the strongest spells you can, and your party will be obscenely over powered. I didn't figure this out till replaying it years later, and at one point I was like "is this and old save with gameshark codes running". You can get Squall's accuracy stat which effects his critical hit to 250%. Your party will be so fast and strong you'll be tearing through tough boss's with just regular attacks.

Yeah was not aware of this one. The only one I know of and have yet to attempt has to do with getting to the end of the game or beating it in under 30 hrs, which gets you a sword called Protect the Queen, which is supposed give your an extended alternate ending. FF9 is easily one of the toughest in the series other that 4. You'd have to give up any lv grinding or weapon hunting to pull this off. Which would make this deed even harder.
