I love these new rock pikmin. I am still kind of hoping that at one point in the game I will be able to command 1000 pikmin in some major battle. Also I wonder if they will add the option to be able to call up the pikmin by colour on the gamepad.
I'm not surprised at the lack of Kendo schools in your area, or in any area except Japan. Kendo can be expensive (it's the bogu/armor), so not many people practice it.
Swimming's an excellent exercise for leg strength. I bet it's much easier to find pools than a Kendo school haha.

I listen to the entirety of the S&M album. However I really do like Devil's Dance, Hero of the Day, Master of Puppets, Of Wolf and Man, The Ecstasy of Gold, Battery, Enter Sandman, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Nothing Else Matters, One, Sad but True, Until it Sleeps, and Wherever I May Roam... that's almost all of them LOL.
I have a hard time tuning out vocals sometimes, specially when intrumentals are better as I can automatically tell that someone isn't supposed to be singing hahahahaha.
Yeah. Metalocalypse is fucking awesome. I also listen to some of Dethklok's songs too. My definite favs are: Crush My Battle Opponent's Balls, the coffee Dethjingle (starts with "do you folks like coffee", hilarious shit), of course I also like the main theme, Thunderhorse, Awaken, and Go Into the Water.
I do like instrumental songs. It would be hard to deny because of my love for video game cover songs. So many songs from the NES era go well when played with an electric guitar.
Definitely liked the Sylosis instrumental.
I have never been much of a fan of folk sounds, but it depends on its purpose. I like to put purpose to songs, or at least they have to be telling me a story. As I said, I do like folk sounds, I really do like them in the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (Gamecube) soundtrack. Love Metallica. I also love their S&M concert, I listen to it quite frequently when I'm uploading media.
From that one Sylosis video I would say that the instrumentals are great to hear, but the vocals are meh in my opinion. I think that when singing at that volume you still need some harmony, Hedley has it, and so does Freddy Mercury (I know, I know. He doesn't do metal, but he sings at such a high volume with harmony, and with such pasion I can't bear to not mention him).

Don't like the keyboard section in Nightwish, but otherwise it's some fucking awesome stuff.

Hmmm I think the biggest energy sucker on the gamepad is the wireless video receiver on it. According to the hardware specs the battery weighs 500g (1.1lb). That's a big battery. LCD brightness, accelerometers, gyro, touchscreen functions, and button/sticks usage are the least energy suckers. The camera however should be second to the wireless video receiver in regards to energy consumption. At least that's what I think.
I have to say, if I were practicing Taekwondo right now, and were at a level that I could challenge you then I would want to fight against you. You're way of fighting is awesome.
Kendo also develops your legs. I used to think that I had good, strong legs from practicing Soccer for so many years (I am Portguese, and lived there for many years), but Kendo has shown me otherwise. Also when doing a kiai (fighting spirit vocalized) in the proper manner it can develop your lung capacity too.

That's a kickass nickname. If I practiced Taekwondo I would go for the head too, I love jump kicking... I love jumping in general. Funny enough I ended up practicing Kendo. It's such a ground based martial art, but you do have to leap forward. Fun times.
