Oh crap... I'm sorry to hear that. I've heard that problem before and I thought I had something in there that would fix that, but maybe it's not working as anticipated. Let me roll out some of the stuff I'm currently working on and I'll get on that next.
This is pretty incredible to hear. Thanks Sneen, I'm really enjoying your content thus far and love your efforts to help spark conversation in the community. With both staff and readers working together, I can see PixlBit being a really awesome place for all of us to share our writing and creativity!
Funny enough we were considering playing System Shock 2 ahead of Bioshock Infinite on our Backloggers podcast. This would allow you guys to play along and listen to staff comments at weekly checkpoints until we beat the game.
We'll keep everyone posted on the effort and if we're going to officially move forward with it. I know I'd love to play it, but finding the time right now might be tough.
Haha, yeah I guess a survival guide would be too late for me, but I'm certain there are others who would be thankful for the help. I agree completely though, it's a game that has a hefty learning curve, but once you get it, you're going to be alright.
As for the review... we kind of dropped the ball on it during the release window, so it just never happened. However, we do a feature called Review Rewinds that is pretty fitting for such a situation. I might just write one up depending on interest in the community and of course, a user review would be equally awesome!
Hey Chris, welcome to the site! I just beat Dark Souls myself and am anxious to talk about it with all of you new people. I'm following you now and I'll be sure to keep an eye out for when you post something on it. Such a fantastic game, pretty anxious to give Demon's Souls another spin and of course, I'm super pumped for Dark Souls 2, whenever that manages to release.
Oh man, I absolutely LOVE the DKC soundtrack. One of the best ever and totally memorable. Coral Capers (the song you have there) was covered by a band Vangough on their album Game On!. Check it out - if you love the original, you're bound to love this:

Heard on this. I really love my Wii U and it hurts that people are already counting it out - publishers included. We should be seeing unbridled support for the system and when talks of new games happen, Wii U should be a given.
It's a great system with some really great features. When those first party Nintendo games start rolling in, I think discussion around it will really heat up. However, I take solace in the fact that Nintendo will profit on the machine and despite the Internet bile, those of us that appreciate the innovation will have something to enjoy.
