I missed a TON of stuff while I was in college. I am still trying to go back and hit some of the highlights. Sadly, for me this is PlayStation 1.

I'm very interested to hear about Japanese games the rest of us don't even try. Some of them sound pretty nuts on the outside, but I always assume it's how normal people still think of Grand Theft Auto as the game where you kill whores for extra points.
Thanks, Mikey!
I get hooked on the unnecessaries too. I think this game's gear buying and what not will be fairly bare bones, but if done right, it will provide just enough incentive to keep you hitting the lake.
Whoa, the A.I. and collision detection looks really bad... in the trailer! Those two guys with riot shileds banging into each other.... oh, man.
Hey! I think most of my friends lost from 1up is here now, including you. Welcome!

I, for one, have been playing games for quite a while. My first Final Fantasy game was the first Final Fantasy game and I still quite enjoyed XIII. Should you ever return, know that there are old folk here too even if we don't have the same opinions.
Glad you've joined us! So many names I saw all the time on 1up are here... I'm really glad you guys are sticking together (and that it happens to be at the site I write for ).
Hey, it's Cary! Glad you're trying out PixlBit. We have posted a few articles recently to help with the big influx of users we're getting here. We've had blogs around for a while, but now we've got a lot more people using them so our site director, Nick, is working hard to get things upgraded with changes happening pretty much daily. Stick with us a while and let us know what you would like added to the site. We welcome all user input.
Very excited to have you here!
There are absolutely no rules against blog series or writing about the same or similar topics that the staff writes about. In fact, we would love to hear different voices on the same subjects when you have too many thoughts to fit in a comment on something we've written. If you want to write your own MIA-type article, go for it.
As far as NSFW images, we have no formal policy in place yet. For the time being, just use your best judgement and if something is questionable, at least tag it as such for readers who might not want to see a lady's ungloved hand. I think you probably know where the line should be between what can be posted, posted and tagged, and not posted at all. Use your good judgement until we have a real policy to direct you to.
