I can see how it can get addicting if you like Creative Mode and build things. I tried that but found myself rather bored. I like a clear goal like an achievement or self imposed challenge. So it's less addicting to me.
In thinking about what you need to make a Notch Apple, 8 BLOCKs of gold, in Minecraft, I can see the joke. Only Notch could afford such a thing.
What would you glaze a pear with to make it a Snee Pear?
I'm doing 1 minute runs inside my 29 minute fast walk every day. I'm getting better but it's taking me longer than I thought to get to 2 minutes. It's funny to remember I would run 10 miles in high school cross country without thinking about it. I've really let things go.
My niece and nephew really, and truely, grew up with Minecraft. They had it on every device and even went to Minecraft camp. I was very skeptical at first, but, boy, what a fun time it is.
Neat! I kinda of miss NIntendo games right now without having a WIi-U, but they really haven't put out a lot of stuff I want. I'd like to play DKC Returns/Tropical Freeze, Zelda Wind Waker HD and Pikmin 3 so far.
Oh yea, I saw there was a PS3 version. About $10 less too. Hum. . .
I kinda wish I had gotten Doom now, but I'm liking these $40 titles right now like Ratchet & Clank, Valkyria Chronicles Remasters and the upcoming Odin's Sphere remake. (oops, Odin'a Sphere will be $60 in the US).
Do games come down in price fairly quickly in Australia?
I'm really tempted to see Nice Guys. The 70s look of it is done so well.
