Wait, as best as I understand, unless I'm not reading it right, Nintendo WILL still be at E3. They're just not doing a big press conference. Which is no big deal to me, the Nintendo Directs serve that purpose well. And they're less costly.
Of course, I'm still bitter that after 15 years of being able to get a press pass to go to E3, I get denied one this year, so I don't really care if Nintendo does a press conference this year or not. I'm glad I got to go to the one last year and see Miyamoto and Reggie in person.
From my experience of going to E3 so many years, I can say that I still think E3 is relavant. I just think that the people who run E3, and the folks who denied me a press pass, have lost focus on what great things E3 can accomplish. --Cary
